Hi Meg,
Recreating the section will replot the image defined in the Plan View tab, but this plots in the Plan View above the section. If you have plotted the image in the base view or the section view after creating the section, then Recreate Section will overwrite the map and this addition will not be applied. You can use Replot Hole on Existing Plan or Section instead, and your jpg image will not be lost. I have another suggestion about this and I am working on a new post for next week (~ 8 Feb 2012) which will describe it in some detail. Stay tuned...

I'm plotting some drillhole sections, and have unregistered jpgs of some early interps of geophys lines we ran. I've imported the jpgs, resized and aligned them within the section in the base map - I can't seem to use warps on the vertical section (though I can on the plan view). That's fine - but when I replot holes on existing plan or section everything replots, except the carefully manually resized and positioned jpg. According to the help files any imported images SHOULD automatically replot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or if it's a glitch?
